Ready to be hung on the wall. Hand transferred images of my original botanical impressions onto the surface of stone tiles or stoneware clay.
Split tiles are a direct result of accidentally dropping and breaking an entire case of tiles. Fascinated by the organic broken forms, I now smash all the 12" tiles before doing the transfers. This has taken the place of creating Ugly Heads. I simply smash 30 or 40 tiles and I feel great!
